A: Jay & Co Beauty (JCB) is indeed a black-owned brand founded by Yvonne Jay. Period.

Q: Do your products work on other skin types?

A: Our products are designed for skin of colour in mind first. Darker skin types often respond differently to triggers like UV, inflammation and acne resulting in unfavourable side effects that are almost always guaranteed to darker skin types and so commercially available skincare selections represent a very narrow worldview and experience. Our products may be formulated for skin of colour in mind first but are suitable for all skin types and shades.

Q: Is JCB packaging recyclable?

A: Sure is. Our packing is recyclable and also made from recycled material.

Q: Is JCB products vegan?

A: Currently all our products are vegan, but we might use honey or beeswax in future products.

Q: Are you cruelty free?

Yes, we are cruelty-free.

Q: Is JCB products safe for pregnant women?
